K. SUSIE HIMEBAUGH, MD

Dr. Himebaugh’s passion is Women’s Health and nurturing other women at all stages of their life. She feels like we tend to personally be our most demanding critic. We must learn to nurture our souls more so we can nurture those around us. Her emphasis has been on trying to improve the health and well being of her patients so they can live their best life. She also feels so blessed and honored to share in some of her patient’s lives both happy and sad. She went to University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee for medical school and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She did her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Memphis , Tennessee also. She then did a fellowship in Women’s Primary Healthcare at University of California at Los Angeles. This experience helped her expand to provide more comprehensive care to her patients.
About Susie
She was in academic medicine for 7 years with teaching and research responsibilities as well as clinical responsibilities. She then moved to private practice. While in private practice, she recognized the need to diversify what could be offered for hormone replacement. She trained in the Sottopelle method of bioidentical hormone replacement and has been treating her patients successfully with this and other methods since 2005. She is also trained in O-shot which enhances sexual functioning as well as a treatment for some forms of incontinence. Dr. Himebaugh is married to Sonny and has 2 grown children and 2 fur babies. In her spare time she loves traveling, hiking, fly fishing and feeding her soul.
